About this event: Unhomely emerged from a conversation between Fiona Yun-Jui Chang, Kristi Wallace Knight, and Chau Nguyen. Driven by a shared concern for urban spaces, migration, and collective memory, the project explores the shifting relationship between individual bodies and places. Each artist selected a place, no longer accessible but haunting, to reflect on intertwined personal narratives and collective memory. Unhomely utilized email inbox as a virtual exhibition space as well as physical locations that are part of everyday life to connect with the audiences.
