I have no tidy way to bring this project to a close. Indeed, The Game may very well be ongoing in some (hopefully) evolvedform, andin many ways The Work is still beginning. I share some glimpsesof The Makingprocess, which include documentation processes. I have learned these are not separate for me. It is in the documentation that I see what I am making, where I begin to generate storylines(some recalled, some imagined), where things start to bump, echo, rhyme and resonate, and where I notice my preferences and perversions. I uncomfortably includesome excerpts from my handwritten notes that either reflect on The Game itself or came as insights in the process of making/documenting.In some waythey put me in my work. The excerpts hang together – they are related– but not meant to tell a complete story. On the final page are hints ofNew Beginningsstill emerging from early documentation experiments with thoseworks or materials that I feltbump, echo, rhyme and resonate.
