Project Statement: "RECOVER: to retrieve something lost, abandoned, once known. Each week, in circle, someone gives thanks for their recovery. I ask what they’ve retrieved.We fight wars to keep at distance the connection to our abandoned parts. I am a Tucson-based multimedia conceptual artist exploring the human psyche. I work with abandoned parts and personas, interior landscapes, impermanence, shadows, and the liminal space between holding on and letting go. I’m drawn to minerals, plants, sounds, and dreams. The discomfort I once felt in sharing my work has lessened, giving way to freedom in the wholeness I seek of being.
